Located in the highly desirable neighborhood of Clapham, this bespoke residential project at Cubitt Terrace was designed to dramatically expand and brighten the property’s footprint.
Working in close collaboration with Matt Hudspith Architect Ltd, Mount St Projects executed a meticulous ground floor rear and side infill extension that seamlessly marries the original architecture with modern, open-plan living. To maximize natural light throughout the newly created spaces, precision structural work was undertaken to integrate multiple rooflights across the front and rear elevations. Extending the living experience beyond the main house, our team also constructed a custom, single-storey outbuilding in the rear garden, delivering a highly functional and elegant residential transformation.
Scope of Works
Comprehensive residential expansion including the erection of a bespoke single-storey ground floor rear and side infill extension to maximize the interior footprint. Precision structural alterations for the installation of two new rooflights to the front roof slope and an additional rooflight to the existing rear outrigger roof to enhance natural daylighting. Complete ground-up construction of a newly designed, single-storey detached outbuilding located in the rear garden.
