Situated in Wrights Arcade at the iconic High Street Kensington Station, this project required the complete transformation of a blank ‘white box’ commercial unit into a vibrant and highly functional speciality coffee shop for Treelogy Ltd.
Working within the distinguished Kensington Building, Mount St Projects collaborated closely with both the client and the landlord, Ashby Capital, to deliver a space that meets the rigorous demands of a high-footfall transit and retail hub. The design’s focal point is the beautifully crafted bespoke joinery, seamlessly integrated with an architectural lighting scheme that elevates the customer experience and highlights the premium nature of the brand. Beyond the high-end finishes, our team expertly navigated complex building regulations to install comprehensive new fire and life safety systems, ensuring the space is as secure and compliant as it is visually striking.
Scope of Works
Turnkey White Box Fit-Out: Complete transformation of an empty commercial shell into a premium, operational hospitality environment. Bespoke Joinery & Millwork: Precision fabrication and installation of custom service counters and display shelving tailored to the client's brand identity. Architectural Lighting Integration: Design and installation of a comprehensive new lighting system to enhance ambiance, showcase the bespoke joinery, and provide optimal task lighting for staff. Life Safety & Fire Alarm Systems: Full installation, integration, and commissioning of a new, building-compliant fire alarm system, meeting strict commercial landlord and local authority regulations. Landlord & Estate Coordination: Seamless project management and liaison with AshbyCapital and station management to ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding high-traffic retail arcade.
