Who we are

Mount St Projects Ltd (company number 15499277) is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at info@mountstprojects.com.

What we collect

When you use our enquiry form or ask for a cost breakdown, we collect:

  • your name, email address and phone number
  • details of your project, such as its type, postcode, budget, timing and anything you tell us
  • the figures you entered in a cost planner
  • the page you submitted from, and any campaign codes in the link you followed
  • technical information needed to protect our forms from spam

How we use it and why

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, send the breakdown you asked for, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

If you tick the box to receive cost updates and guides, we send them on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the website and reply to you:

  • our website hosting provider
  • our email provider
  • Cloudflare, which checks form submissions for spam
  • Google Analytics, if you allow analytics cookies

Website analytics

If you choose Allow analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive, and whether they use the cost calculators, send an enquiry, or click our phone number or email address. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into our forms to Google, and we have turned off Google signals and advertising features. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We keep analytics data for 14 months. See our cookies page for details.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact if we do not go on to work together. If we do work together, we keep project records for as long as we need them for the contract, warranty and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
